# A calendar for the events you add yourself

> A month grid and day view with reminders on the PerchDeck notch (“Standup – 4 min”). Events are kept on your PC. No account and no sync with other calendars.

Part of [PerchDeck](https://perchdeck.app/) for Windows. Canonical page: https://perchdeck.app/features/calendar

Add events yourself and see them in a month grid or a day view. When one is near, the notch pulses with its name and the minutes left.

## What it does
- **Events you control.** A title up to 120 characters, a date, all-day or a start time, a length from 15 minutes to 3 hours, and a reminder.
- **Reminders.** None, at the time, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day before. New events remind you 10 minutes before by default, with sound on.
- **Your to-dos show up.** Open to-dos with a date appear on their days.
- **Week starts your way.** Automatic (your PC's language), Monday or Sunday.

## Good to know
- No recurring events and no syncing with Google, Outlook or iCloud calendars.
- Reminders show only while PerchDeck is running. Up to 20,000 events.
- With “Hide the notch” on, nothing is shown on the notch, but the reminder sound still plays.

## Questions
### Does it sync with Google Calendar or Outlook?
No. Events are added in PerchDeck and kept on your PC. There is no calendar sync and no recurring events in version 1.0.
